We spy some murals….

So…if you live in and around Sand City, you may have seen a few murals pop up over the last few months. we. curator Pat Milbery has been working with the Sand City Arts Committee to create a series of murals throughout the West End to get folks excited about the gathering. While COVID threw a wrench in some of his travel plans, Milbery has painted two murals so far and plans on painting at least two more before things kick off on September 28th.

The goal with these murals, in addition to building anticipation for we., is to spread love and color during these weird times we are all living in. Milbery is doing this for the betterment of the community and to create a real sense of place when residents and visitors alike explore Sand City. Our new cat friend resides in the West End and is the unofficial we. mascot, keep your eyes peeled for him…you never know where he may pop up….
